🎯 The role – Build, Own, and Scale OpenCTI

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to take a decisive role in the development of the OpenCTI Platform. You’ll work in a medium-sized team alongside Engineering Managers, Product Owners, Staff Engineers and a dozen of developers with diverse profile and expertise— with direct access to our leadership.

Your mission

• Be a key builder of OpenCTI, the open-source, cutting-edge cyber-threat intelligence platform from Filigran

• Own end-to-end features: from concept to production, ensuring quality, scalability, and performance.

• Dig deep into the platform and build your knowledge and expertise, working closely with the EM and Staff Engineer.

• Collaborate directly with product and leadership to translate vision into a concrete, high-quality user experience.

• Take part in scaling and maturing the team , helping structure technical processes and best practices, mentoring junior developers.

• Engage with the open-source community: working at Filigran gives you the opportunity to contribute to a wider ecosystem, interact with thousands of users, developers and CTI enthusiast, and drive adoption.

Tech stack & Tooling

We believe in using standard and open-source technologies.

• Frontend: TypeScript, React, GraphQL (Relay)

• Backend: Node.js, GraphQL APIs (Apollo)

• Infrastructure: Kubernetes, GitHub Actions

• Observability & Tooling: GitHub, Grafana

You don’t need to be an expert in all of these, but you should be excited to work in this ecosystem and be able to ramp up quickly. Do not hesitate to have a look at our Github repositories, everything’s open-source ☀️

We’re looking for experienced engineers who are excited to build, solve complex problems, and contribute to a meaningful product.

• You have 5+ years of experience building and shipping real, scalable applications.

• You have experience working in a remote environment, knowing the challenges it brings in terms of collaboration and communication.

• You deeply understand how to build robust, maintainable frontends. You design scalable, high-performance UIs that are easy to extend and refactor over time.

• You don’t just consume APIs—you think about how they should be built. You are comfortable with modern web architectures, middleware, authentication flows, and API design (REST/GraphQL).

• You code with intent. You’re proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, and you have experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) and server-side environments (Node.js, Deno, Bun, etc.).

• You are product-driven. You care about UX, performance, and making technical choices that improve the user experience.

• You take ownership. You don’t wait for specs to be handed down—you drive discussions, challenge ideas, and propose better solutions.

• You want to build something bigger than yourself. With OpenCTI being one of the largest open-source project in the CTI community you’ll have the chance to interact with a global community of engineers and security professionals.

• You are comfortable working in an English-first environment. Our documentation, discussions, and async communication are all in English.
