About the role:

As the Head of IT at our Letohrad factory, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our IT strategy to support our production goals. You will oversee the entire IT infrastructure, lead a dedicated local team, ensure IT security, manage budgets, drive innovation, and provide essential support to maintain seamless business operations. Your leadership and expertise will be crucial in integrating cutting-edge technologies and ensuring the stability and security of our IT systems.

Your Responsibilities:

Strategic IT Planning: Develop and implement IT strategies, manage projects, and select site-specific software and hardware.

IT Infrastructure: Oversee networks, servers, software, and hardware to ensure availability, stability, and security.

Team Leadership: Lead and develop the IT team, recruit specialists, and coordinate external providers.

IT Security & Data Protection: Ensure IT security, monitor compliance with data protection regulations, and collaborate with the CYS organization.

Budget Management: Manage IT budgets, control costs, and implement cost-saving measures.

Digitization, Innovation & Development: Identify new technologies, lead innovation projects, and support global project implementation (e.g. SherpaX, ZeroTrust and LANspire).

Troubleshooting & Support: Resolve IT issues, manage escalations, and provide IT support for employees.

Qualifications and Personal Attributes:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
  • Several years of IT management experience, ideally in manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, cloud technologies, and production systems (e.g., MES, ERP).
  • Experience in team leadership and development.
  • Strong understanding of IT security, data protection, and compliance.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Czech and English.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • High commitment and sense of responsibility.
  • Enthusiasm for innovation and new technologies.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
