We are looking for an intermediate Analytics Engineer (or “BI Engineer”) -he/she/they- to join our Data Team . You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SQL models and data pipelines that enable data analysis, reporting, and visualization, empowering stakeholders to gain valuable insights and make data-driven decisions.. You will work inside the Product/Marketing squad inside the Data Team and you will report to the VP of Growth.
This position is hybrid (4 days per week at the office) and located in Paris.

The Analytics Engineering activities will focus on Google BigQuery, dbt and Looker.
Talk to Product/Marketing stackholders to understand their needs
Identify and implement models for key data sources (first-party or third party)
Write SQL queries for various purposes (data cleaning, KPI modeling, …)
Architecture a clean and scalable transformation pipeline using dbt
Document database models (comments in code, wiki pages)
Audit raw and transformed data and create data quality tests
Connect the created databases into Looker, our BI tool
Maintain and configure Looker (user access/permissions)
You have hands-on experience building and optimizing dbt pipelines for B2C applications, ideally in the gaming industry, and know how to structure them for scalability and efficiency.
You are skilled at setting up and maintaining self-service BI environments, particularly with Looker, enabling stakeholders to independently retrieve insights with ease.
You excel at simplifying complex systems, creating data models that are intuitive, well-documented, and built for long-term maintainability.
You have a strong understanding of SQL and know how to transform raw data into actionable metrics while ensuring data quality and reliability.
You enjoy collaborating with diverse teams, translating business questions from Product and Marketing stakeholders into technical solutions.

Experience: 3+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering
Fluent English
Highly open minded, diplomat and pedagogical
Strong SQL expertise: You can write efficient, complex queries and ensure they are optimized for performance and scalability.
Experience with dbt: You have a solid track record of designing and maintaining dbt pipelines, with a focus on scalability, clean architecture, and long-term maintainability.
Proficiency with Looker: You are skilled in configuring Looker, creating intuitive dashboards, and enabling self-service analytics for stakeholders.
Data modeling and architecture: You have experience designing clear, well-documented data models that simplify complex systems and support business needs effectively.
Data quality and testing: You understand the importance of clean, reliable data and can implement robust data quality checks to ensure accuracy and trustworthiness.
Cross-functional collaboration: You’re comfortable working with Marketing Managers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions.
