The Technical Architect oversees the technical side of the installation and management of IT systems and guarantees the coherence of all IT resources (hardware, applications, databases, networks, middleware, operating system).

Main responsibilities

Design:

• Design of the technical architecture of the information systems
• Verification and analysis of the technical impacts of the new solutions and its coherence.

Recommendation:

• For any new project or any new technology, participation in the impact study on the existing or projected architecture and recommendation of technical and financial choices to ensure the coherence of this evolution.

Administration:

• Participation of the definition and management of technical standards and the IT system repository in terms of tools, procedures, standards, vocabulary, security with the Technical Expertise Manager and the IT & Cybersecurity Manager.
• Redaction of the different technical High Level Design and Low Level Design documents.

Consulting:

• Advice to the information systems architect of the functional area on the use of computer and telecommunications tools.

Communication:

• Teamwork with the IS architect and the IT management.
• Promotion of the technical architecture into the company

Knowledge / Know how

• Advanced knowledge of computer tools and languages
• Real skills in project management

Experience

Graduate of a computer science engineering school or a university degree in computer science (Master's level), with at least 5 years of experience in an equivalent position. Or 3 years of higher education with at least 10 years of experience in an equivalent position. Fluent English required.
