The position

Job description

We are the Digital & Business Factory of the Accor Group, the innovation and transformation lab of the global leader in hospitality.

With our 700 Heartists®, we bring together the best of hospitality and the best of tech & digital.

Our ambition: to offer our customers personalized, memorable, and sustainable experiences.

Here, we create new ways of traveling in each of our 5,500 hotels, reaching our 100 million customers in 110 countries.

Here, we are at the heart of a fantastic playground for designing and creating digital products and services, for our customers and hotel teams.

Here, your field of application will know no boundaries, so join us and dare to make an impact on the world!

This is where your biggest challenge awaits:

Accor, a global leader in hospitality, has launched an ambitious digital program to transform group bookings for "Meeting & Event" (booking more than 7 rooms with or without a meeting/space). In this context, Accor will partner with a provider to develop and deploy a new distribution platform for meetings and events, allowing hotels to connect their inventory to multiple channels and efficiently manage all types of requests, including instant booking.

Accor is looking for an experienced Product Owner to manage the products of this distribution platform and lead the selected tech provider to ensure it meets Accor's needs. This role is key to the success of the program, as this platform is at the core of the digital ecosystem Accor seeks to build. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for coordinating with all teams involved in this project.

The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of Accor's digital ecosystem (or a similar hospitality player), particularly in the Meetings & Events (M&E) field, with a solid understanding of group booking rules within hotels.

Your mission:

Product Management:

  • Gather and fully understand the needs of various users and stakeholders, with a thorough comprehension of hotel challenges.

  • Define and prioritize the M&E distribution platform roadmap, ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives.

  • Collaborate and coordinate cross-functional teams within Accor to ensure the M&E distribution platform is connected via API interfaces to all systems and platforms in the Accor ecosystem, including websites and other distribution channels, CRS, RMS, CRM B2B, content management system, loyalty programs, etc.

  • Coordinate technical teams with the tech lead to ensure product quality, delivery timelines, and goal achievement.

  • Collaborate with the dedicated team, managing change to ensure optimal transition for hotels (communication, training, support, etc.).

Accor Ecosystem Expertise:

  • Possess an in-depth understanding of Accor's digital distribution tools, including the CRS (Central Reservation System), S&Cs (Sales and Catering), PMS (Property Management System), RMS (Revenue Management System), CRM, APIs, and other distribution tools.

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure optimal integration of these tools into Accor's digital ecosystem.

Technical Coordination:

  • Collaborate closely with the technical manager and stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility and the successful delivery of key features, ensuring the proposed solutions are technically robust and compliant with the digital ecosystem's constraints.

Project Management:

  • Monitor project KPIs, anticipate risks, and identify areas for improvement. Develop and execute associated action plans.

  • Communicate regularly with different teams, internal stakeholders, and external suppliers/agencies to ensure the project's status is understood and well-executed.
