We are looking for an already established Network Engineer with proven ISP Network experience to support the infrastructure of the Danish railway operator.
The position is located in the Czech republic. Alongside with your colleagues from Denmark and the Czech Republic, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the operational stability of our customers’ network infrastructure.
You will participate in L2 and L3 support tasks, and in time on projects based on customer demand, as well as on-call duty for major and critical situations that may arise.

Design, deploy, and manage EVPN-based solutions /Segment Routing for data center and campus networks.
Implement Segment Routing architecture to optimize traffic engineering and network scalability.
Configure and troubleshoot BGP protocols, including route reflection, policy-based routing, and route redistribution.
Design and maintain VRF instances to support multi-tenancy and network segmentation requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex network issues and provide effective solutions.
Conduct network performance monitoring and capacity planning to maintain high availability and performance standards.
Document network configurations, procedures, and best practices for knowledge sharing and future reference.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the network infrastructure.
5+ years of experience in network engineering roles, with a focus on EVPN, Segment Routing, BGP,Carrier-Supporting-Carrier,SYNC-E, and VRF technologies.
Strong understanding of networking protocols and concepts, including OSI model, TCP/IP, and MPLS.
Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS-XR platforms, particularly ASR9K series routers.
Experience with Traffic Engineering and Quality of Service (QoS) implementations.
Proficiency in network automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ansible) is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, Service Provider or equivalent are highly desirable
Willingness to learn an take ownership of tasks
Ability to work under stress
Good communication skills
Responsibility, good time management, and ability to cooperate across the board ranging from L1 support center through field technicians to customer’s representatives.
Fluent English on both written and verbal level
Knowledge of Danish language is optional, but definitely a plus.
