Airbus Helicopters is looking for an Export Control Manager (f/m) for the Export Control department based in Marignane, France.

Within the Export Control department in a team of 15 persons who supports all activities of Airbus Helicopters to support them while respecting the applicable export control regulations.

This position is located in Marignane, France. It may include travels in France and in other countries.In the context of Airbus Helicopters' policy on export control regulations, the Export Control Manager contributes to the compliance of tangible and intangible flows (all types of transactions: purchases, sales, repairs, exchanges, loans, transfers and storage of goods and data). Reporting to the HO Export Control France (LOEHF), the ECM is responsible for the continuous improvement of processes and the consolidation of associated procedures.

Your challenges:

You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with export control regulations and your main responsibilities are the following:● Work on all export control matters handled by the department, as a support for the more sectorally focused team members, including Fr, UK, German, EU and US export regulations;● Ensure the conformity of “AMERICAS” offers (compliance & contractual review);● Support to ensure compliance of H160(M), H175(M), TIGER & N90;● Dual use licence referent;● Perform all mandatory export control actions: requesting the necessary authorizations from the competent authorities and implementing import and export controls, archiving the various documents in accordance with the regulatory provisions, ensure that procedures are implemented within the business and to verify their application at operational level, etc.

Your profile:

● Min 3 years of experience working in a multinational environment advising on international trade and export control matters;● Business acumen and ethical behaviour in a heavily regulated business environment● Expert knowledge of Fr, EU, German, UK and US military and dual-use export controls;● University educated;● Strong leadership and communication skills; sound business judgment; ability to appropriately involve others in consultations and decisions;● Excellent writing skills required to write and edit policies and procedures, reports and memorandums;● Strong relationship building, networking, interpersonal and communication skills;● High degree of initiative, credibility, independence, integrity, confidentiality and trust;● Ability to quickly earn the respect of senior management in order to be credible and effective in this complex and constantly-developing environment,● Languages: Commercially fluent in English and French; German is considered a plus.
