RESPONSIBILITIES AND MISSIONS

You will be involved in R&D tasks at laboratory and pilot scales, focusing on the transformation of algae into innovative food ingredients and co-products:

·       Handling and setup of equipment and machines at laboratory and pilot scales.

·       Development and drafting of usage protocols for equipment and machinery.

·       Production of various algae extracts at lab and pilot scales using multiple processes.

·       Testing and evaluating new machines/processes/technologies with potential for innovation.

·       Monitoring and recording machine/process parameters during and after trials.

·       Tracking and documenting product analyses during and after trials.

·       Data entry into R&D, Quality, and other relevant documents and forms.

·       Maintenance and proper use of laboratory equipment and pilot machine fleet (cleaning, servicing, maintenance).

·       First-level troubleshooting of equipment and organizing or overseeing higher-level repairs.

SKILLS REQUIRED

We are looking for a professional with experience in plant-based biorefinery and the following skills:

·       Education: Minimum BTS to a maximum of Master 1 in fields relevant to the position.

·       Technical English: Ability to read user manuals and communicate with non-French-speaking suppliers.

·       Proven experience in process engineering is a plus.

·       Passion for machinery and processes.

·       Careful handling of lab equipment and pilot machine fleet.

·       Well-organized with a focus on workflow optimization.

·       Precision in R&D test execution and data collection.

·       Compliance with work standards (HACCP, CSR, FSC22000, other norms, etc.).

·       Interest in continuous improvement.

·       Approximately 5 years of experience in similar roles.

·       Experience in production within the food industry or related sectors (Pharma, Cosmetics, Petfood, Chemistry, etc.).

·       Start date: As soon as possible.
