We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to oversee the efficient execution of research projects. The ideal candidate, as a key member of the Partnerships team, will ensure the timely delivery of project deliverables, accurate financial reporting, effective coordination of consortium activities, and seamless communication with technical teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:


  • Deliverables Management

  • Deliver all project deliverables on schedule and with high quality.
  • Track the progress of technical teams, providing support to ensure documentation and reporting meet project objectives.
  • Financial Oversight

  • Ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting for all funding sources.
  • Develop collaborative processes for sharing information across departments.
  • Consortium Coordination

  • Plan and lead consortium meetings, handling all logistics from agenda creation to minute-taking.
  • Promote collaboration and effective communication within the consortium.
  • Manage the creation and maintenance of consortium agreements, ensuring adherence to compliance standards and support of project goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement

  • Manage communication and relationships between the consortium, funding body, and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in progress meetings with stakeholders, presenting updates and actively seeking their input.
  • Technical Team Collaboration

  • Facilitate the collaborative creation, review, and submission of deliverables with technical team members.
  • Risk Management and Reporting

  • Anticipate potential roadblocks and create strategies to overcome them and maintain project momentum.
  • Share regular progress reports covering deliverables, finances, and milestones.
  • Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in project management, preferably with externally funded or consortium-based projects.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using project management tools.
  • Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Expertise in consortium agreements and stakeholder management.
