Controlling, as part of Finance department, is fully engaged in that strategy with main purpose of being a valuable partner for decision making with all our stakeholders.

About the Role:

You will support the Gearshift Allianz Trade (internal carve out and transfer of people and contracts to Allianz Technology) by managing and securing the budget (run and projects) on consulting activities as well as reporting any deviation to stakeholders. In addition, you will support the Controlling team with the performance of standard controlling tasks.

You will report to the Allianz Trade Business Controller of France.

Allianz Trade, world leader in trade credit insurance, is one of the key customers of Allianz Technology France and relation has intensified in 2023 with Gearshift transfer.

It will be a minimum 1-year duration mission in our main office located in Paris La Défense with start date 1st of September 2024 at earliest.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring actuals vs. plan on consulting activities, analyzing deviations and their drivers.
  • Ensuring proper allocation within cost center structure of consulting costs depending on activities performed (run, projects).
  • Ensuring accurate monthly billing reporting to the Customers and provisions calculations.
  • Supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborating with Senior Finance Manager and Senior Controller to steer efficiently Profit & Loss account statement.
  • Providing financial analysis, reports and dashboards for various stakeholders (ad-hoc, monthly, quarterly, yearly).
  • Contributing to guidelines, methods, best practices, processes, and systems for controlling area.
  • Assisting in ad hoc financial projects and initiatives as required.


Requirements:
  • You are preparing a master on one or two years in Finance or Accounting field.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills in a hybrid environment, with ability to work in a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good knowledge MS Office skills, notably in Excel/Power Query and Power Point.
  • Fluent in English and French.
