ARENAMETRIX is the european leader in Culture & Sport Data, developing a Customer Data Platform that specifically meets the needs of these markets through a combination of technological architecture and a range of expertise: project management, CRM, acquiring new fans, building loyalty among existing customers and monetising data. ARENAMETRIX currently supports more than 300 customers, including around a hundred sports clubs, federations and professional leagues.
Immersed in the day-to-day life of these players, our team is keen to welcome other collaborators who share our strong values: high standards, transparency and autonomy! In the midst of a growth phase, we are creating this position to launch the creation of our international sports team. Arenametrix’s ambition is to welcome new sports clients throughout Europe.
Your tasks
Your role will be to lead the International Sport BU under the supervision of the International Development Director:
Sales: develop the “sports” customer portfolio
Update and use lead acquisition and CRM tools
Qualifying prospects, phoning
Making sales appointments, participating in the sales strategy
Analysing prospects’ challenges, the competition and market solutions
Participate in responses to calls for tender
Implement an indirect sales strategy
Marketing: promoting Arenametrix’s expertise in the European sports market
Monitor worldwide best practice in CRM, data management, marketing, ticketing, sponsorship, etc.
Writing and distributing newsletters, blog articles and white papers in collaboration with the marketing team
Prepare and take part in trade fairs, seminars and market events: Spobis, etc.
Customer success: supporting our customers
Supporting customers from the moment they sign the contract: training, support, advice, etc.
Responding to their requests and ensuring that they are implemented internally
Helping their teams to get to grips with the scope of the CRM project
Monitor certain projects independently
The working environment
At the heart of the company, you will have a 360° view of the strategy and development of Arenametrix’s business in this market. You’ll be in regular contact with all the members of the Arenametrix team and a wide range of players in the sports sector, both service providers and institutions. This experience will be full of discoveries and lessons to be learnt, in a rapidly expanding world!
As the business grows, you’ll also be responsible for recruiting and supervising a team dedicated to international sport.
Qualities required
We’re looking for someone who is dynamic, rigorous, autonomous and able to adapt quickly to the work environment. You’ll be ambitious, empathetic and always willing to go the extra mile to achieve your team’s ambitions in the CRM and Data markets.
Here’s some more information about the profile we’re looking for:
You have a Master 2 and/or Business School qualification and at least 6 years’ experience in business development, marketing or CRM.
You have professional or personal knowledge of the world of sport
You’ve already used a CRM: Arenametrix, Hubspot, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, etc. (or other)
You’re very good at speaking and you’re not afraid of the telephone! A little extra if you are trilingual in French, English and a 3rd language…
You like a challenge, you’re results-oriented and you never get discouraged.
You’re keen to get involved in the life of a fast-growing start-up and enjoy a great human experience as part of a passionate team!
