Artefact Benelux in Utrecht is looking for an ambitious Data Consulting Manager to strengthen our team.

What you will be doing: 

Our Data and Consulting departments lead the way in effectively exploiting data in all its forms. Do you want to help organisations implement best-in-class data strategies, collect and integrate data, and securely and cost-effectively store and analyse it? Reporting directly to the Consulting Director for Benelux, your role will encompass:

• Leading client projects: manage diverse teams of consulting talent to deliver strategic and sustainable solutions. Leverage your experience and leadership skills to ensure the teams succeed by optimally utilizing their skill sets across various (international) projects.
• Project management: oversee one or more streams, ensuring mission delivery. Identify bottlenecks, propose solutions, and manage documentation, planning, and reporting. Produce mission deliverables and create presentations, case studies, and impactful slides.
• Client relationship management: build and maintain trusting relationships with clients. Demonstrate confidence in networking situations and identify potential business opportunities. Participate in pitches and help maintain good relationships with clients and prospects.
• Business development: actively look for new business opportunities while leading client projects. Take responsibility for initiatives enabling Artefact’s growth, such as recruiting, training, and people development.
• Internal impact: support and develop areas of expertise (strategy, data governance, data marketing, etc.), ensuring knowledge sharing within the Consulting department. Participate in external events, create Artefact content, and contribute to the recruitment process by interviewing candidates and onboarding new arrivals.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: you have demonstrated success in your first 4+ years at a (digital) consulting firm, including 2+ years of managing projects and/or clients.
• Business acumen: you possess a dual profile in ‘business’ and ‘data,’ with a keen eye for identifying business opportunities.
• Analytical mindset: you love data and believe decisions should be driven by facts.
• Entrepreneurial spirit: you enjoy helping build a company and have a growth mindset.
• Language proficiency: you have strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to represent Artefact in a client-facing capacity.
• Personal attributes: you are curious and passionate about data and technological evolution. You demonstrate rigour, proactivity, and enjoy problem-solving.
