We are looking for a Project Director. 

You will be working on a large-scale building project for CERN. The project is called B777 and is a tertiary building with laboratories and a high-quality restaurant, in wooden construction. As Project Director, you will oversee the works phase on site, working in an international context with a renowned international architect.

You will work with the rest of the technical team working on the project, who will support you in monitoring the site. You will play an active role in achieving our teams' objectives in terms of quality, safety, cost control and deadlines.

Your tasks

• Coordinating technical and site teams.
• Overseeing the design-build company from a technical, quality, contractual, planning and budgetary point of view:
• Leading meetings with the company
• Ensuring compliance with the company's project quality processes
• Organising on-site work inspections
• Fulfilling and documenting all the obligations of the FIDIC Yellow Engineer role
• Monitoring the company's weekly and monthly schedules and interfaces with the equipment to be installed by the project owner, and reporting to the project owner accordingly
• Reviewing and approving the company's work schedules
• Preparing the various contractual change notes for the company
• Assessing any complaints made by the company
• Managing the company's contract management correspondence
• Providing to the technical teams on the progress of the project and any difficulties encountered

Your assets

• You have at least 10 years' experience in project management
• Fluency in English.
• Proficiency of FIDIC (yellow book) will be appreciated
• Proficiency of software such as Autocad and/or Revit will also be appreciated.
• You will need to have a valid driving licence to travel around the company (to meet customers, monitor site work, etc.). Company vehicles will be available for business travel.
• In addition to your theoretical background, we will be particularly attentive to the personality of the employee who joins us: dynamism, listening skills, flexibility and intellectual curiosity will be our main selection criteria.
