We are looking for a motivated Global Financial Reporting Manager (f/m/x) to join our fast growing team in Berlin.

About the role

As Global Financial Reporting Manager (f/m/x) you will be involved in preparing and analysing audibene's financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, to provide key insights into the company's financial performance for management and stakeholders. You are a key player in presenting a clear picture of audibene's financial performance and you will be working with external auditors during the annual audit process.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of monthly and consolidated financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in compliance with GAAP or IFRS standards.
  • Create, analyze, and interpret weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc financial reports to support business needs and provide clear insights for decision-making.
  • Perform budget-to-actual comparisons to identify variances and improvement areas, collaborating with departments for deeper insights.
  • Maintain and monitor internal controls to ensure accurate financial data that complies with all relevant standards and regulations.
  • Partner with management, investors, and external stakeholders to present financial insights and assist with disclosure filings.
  • Implement new software tools and update the financial reporting framework while leading projects tied to new initiatives or standards.
  • Analyze and find solutions - including technical solutions - for new accounting and financial statement issues
  • Investigate financial discrepancies, report findings with recommendations, and execute approved corrective actions.
  • Responsibility for preparing ad-hoc financial analysis to improve understanding of business performance and strategic initiatives
  • Automate and streamline financial reporting and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Drive the evolution of financial tools and dashboards for a more agile, data-driven approach.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly/quarterly business reports with accurate financial data.
  • Assist to local and global statutory reporting requirements.
  • Help to external auditors during the annual audit process
  • Lead, develop, and mentor the group reporting team to achieve high performance

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s/ Master’s in Accounting or Finance with extensive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
  • In-depth understanding of GAAP, IFRS, HGB, financial consolidations, eliminations, segment reporting, and internal controls.
  • Advanced expertise in Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, and ERP systems (e.g., MS Dynamics NAV, Lucanet), with strong financial analysis and data manipulation skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of general ledger structures, financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills for preparing and presenting reports, with a proven ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate across teams.
  • Strong analytical mindset, able to investigate data discrepancies and deliver clear recommendations while managing tasks independently.
  • Demonstrates the highest standards of integrity, accuracy, and professionalism in maintaining compliant financial data.
