The position

Job description

In this context, we’re hiring a passionate and motivated Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to join our dynamic teams in France and the United States.

Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, as a Product Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in aligning our product’s value proposition with the evolving demands of our customer base. Your deep understanding of the podcasting market, buyer personas, and competitive landscape will be essential in ensuring our product stands out and drives growth. Collaborating closely with product and marketing teams, you’ll focus on outcomes that underscore our product’s success in its market.

Your Responsibilities:

1. Market & Buyers Analysis:

• Identify market trends, potential opportunities, and competitive threats.

• Conduct comprehensive competitor research on pricing and features.

• Establish and refine buyer personas, detailing their challenges, motivations, and purchase patterns.

2. Product Positioning & Messaging:

• Craft clear positioning statements encompassing vision, market differentiation, and value proposition.

• Oversee product-related external content with the Content team, including web pages, social media, Press releases…

• Create communication messages for users (Changelog, user emails, in-app communications, etc.)

• Influence the product roadmap with actionable market insights.

3. Go-to-Market Strategy & Enablement:

• Plan and coordinate the launch of new product features, ensuring effective communication strategies.

• Develop assets to aid in product promotion, including sales pitches, presentation videos, and success stories.

• Monitor key metrics such as conversion rates and churn, making recommendations for improvement.

4. Collaboration & Continuous Learning:

• Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication of product strategies and roadmap.

• Keep abreast of market trends and customer feedback, ensuring they influence product development.

• Drive the advancement of product marketing practices within the organization, introducing new methodologies and tools.

5. Internal Enablement:

• Coach internal teams on product strategy and ensure they have the resources to successfully communicate product value.

• Develop and share content that assists both internal teams and customers in understanding our product’s offerings and benefits.


Preferred experience

💼  Prior experience in Product marketing (at least 3 years of xp), preferably in a tech environment.

🇺🇸 Bilingual in US-English

🤝 Ability to work cross-functionally in a multicultural and multilingual environment. Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with international teams.

📡 A strong inclination towards technology and an understanding of the latest market trends.

📊 Familiarity with Amplitude or a similar product analytics tool would be a strong advantage


Recruitment process

• Two-Part Test: Online technical test (20 min) to assess analytical and product marketing knowledge, followed by a 2hrs Case study (preferably in-person at the Paris office)

• CEO Interview (1h 30)
