Asset Management Analyst 

La Defense, Paris– Hybrid

As a future Asset Management Analyst, you will report to Senior Retail Asset Manager, and you will be part of AXA IM Alts Real Estate.

Being part of a team of 11 analysts, the analyst contributes to the management and value creation of a portfolio consisting of Offices / Retail / Logistics / Residential / Hotels / alternative assets at French level, with specific strategic contributions at European level.

Our Real Estate Asset Management team is based across Europe. More specifically in Paris, the Analyst will join a team of 11 Analysts within the Asset Management France department. This department manages a portfolio of c. 16.5 billion assets in Offices / Retail / Logistics / Residential / Hotels for AXA IM Real Assets, a European leader in real estate asset management.

The Analyst assists the Asset Manager and contributes to the definition and the implementation of the best value creation strategy for some assets. He / she is responsible for:

Asset strategy/Planning/Monitoring:

  • Provide analysis contributing to the definition of the asset strategy: market benchmark, DCF calculation
  • Contribute to the preparation and the monitoring of the asset budget (revenues, opex and capex) coordinating with the property managers or asset operators, 
  • Assist in monitoring external valuations: check information, review consistency of reports, provide gap analysis

Asset Operational Management:

  • Collect and analyse all relevant and updated data / documentation at asset level (technical, legal, tax and commercial data) 
  • Contribute to the supervision of tenancy issues, claims and potential law suits with legal advisors
  • Control leasing information
  • Contribute to the implementation of the marketing and letting strategy (brokers mandate elaboration, marketing tools, visits management, covenant rating)
  • Assist asset manager in the implementation and follow up of ESG strategy
  • Monitor asset KPI’s and contribute to reporting of the investors
  • Provide analytical and presentation support on ad hoc strategic (success book, commercial reports, etc..)
  • Monitor PM and servicers: prepare and follow RFP, follow and organize mandate deadlines

Acquisition and disposal:

  • Assist in the preparation of disposals (data room collection, valuation, preparation of marketing tools, etc...) 
  • Assist in the on-boarding of new acquisition (collect data, PM RFP, insurance coverage, etc…)

European transversal support:

  • Missions under the management of any of the AM leadership team members
  • Missions under the management of the Global Sector Heads such as transversal analysis, monitoring KPIs and support in the preparation of sectors strategic reviews

Your qualifications and experience:

  • Educated degree in business or real estate
  • Proven interest in real estate 
  • Understanding of legislations and/or financial techniques related to real estate investment
