Within the Group, you will join the Group Learning Department

Within this Department, you will be responsible for the Strategic Upskilling Programs team and will report to the Group Head of Learning.

You will be a member of the Group Learning Management Team as well as of the Learning Leadership Team together with the LMT members and the Heads of Learning from our main Entities.

Your job and daily missions:

  • Build the upskilling strategy for AXA Group, in collaboration with the Professional families and the Group Centers of Expertise, in a consultative and business partnering approach, on both transversal skills and technical expertise.
  • Assess medium to long term upskilling and learning needs for AXA, in line with global trends, to support the success of the Group strategy and related business transformations in a variety of fields (technology, data, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, sustainability, climate adaptation, social inclusion…).
  • Drive the design of high-impact journeys and/or programs, leveraging digital & face to face learning to offer an effective learner experience, in close collaboration with external partners and colleagues at Group and Entity levels with an agile and learner-centric mindset.
  • Develop strong partnerships with leading education institutions, identify and select potential vendors, and contribute to position AXA as a though leader in its domains of strategic interest.
  • Foster internal communities on strategic skills and act as a business partner to the entities to scale selected local programs and facilitate cross-entity collaboration.
  • Manage a team of 2 Learning Partners and 1 Learning Coordinator to ensure the implementation of the Upskilling Strategy on time and on budget.
  • Collaborate with the Group Learning Operations and Learner Engagement team to implement best practices and participate to global engagement projects related to strategic skills.
  • Engage with the Leadership & Executive Learning team to co-design and deploy programs targeting senior leaders.
  • Be a team player and an ambassador of Group Learning, leveraging and relaying initiatives of the other departments to the benefit of the whole organization, and actively participate to the global L&D community (sharing best practices, promoting innovation…).
  • Stay ahead of market through participation in external networks, conferences.
  • Manage value, budget, planning and quality of deliverables.
  • Guarantee compliance of the Strategic Upskilling Programs Department with Group Standards.

Preferred experience

Technical and professional skills:

  • Min 10 years of experience in the Learning field or in a HR generalist role with a strong business partnership mindset, or alternatively in business transformation or consulting roles with a focus on upskilling strategies
  • Good knowledge of learning and change management practices
  • Good knowledge of HR, talent and skills trends
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with capability to advise and bring expertise to senior leadership
  • Strong project management skills & Learning design skills
  • Strong managerial skills
  • Negotiation & communication (written and oral) skills
  • Business French & English level

Soft skills and competencies:
