Where will you be in the organization?

The division

You will join Group Procurement & Sourcing division. Our mission is to increase AXA Group competitiveness by optimizing the end-to-end Procurement cycle of external spend (excluding Insurance procurement), while building a high performance and risk-managed supplier based. We have a global and entity Procurement presence with 2 different mandates:

 

As Group, we:

·       Leverage our purchasing power through global deals & key supplier relationship management

·       Define & share vendor risk framework & outsourcing policies

·       Provide and manage global Procurement tools

·       Drive responsible Procurement across AXA

·       Engage the Procurement community 

 

As Group Operations (GO) support function, we:

·       Optimize the external spend by managing categories and suppliers, and challenging the demand to support AXA GO strategy

·       Implement vendor risk framework and policies at AXA GO

·       Develop and use local & global Procurement tools

·       Develop responsible Procurement at AXA GO

 

Our division is composed of several departments with respective accountabilities: 

·       Procurement Partnerships 

·       Procurement General Expenses & Real Estate 

·       Procurement IT & Security 

·       Procurement Cesame 

·       Procurement Transformation 

 

The department

GO Procurement Performance & Operations department is responsible for:

·       designing GO procurement strategy and leading the GO transformation plan including GO procurement operating model and all GO procurement processes (S2C, P2P)

·       driving GO vendor risk management and GO outsourcing regulatory activities

·       managing all GO procurement cross-category operations

 

The Go procurement Operations team will spearhead Group procurement efforts to simplify and industrialize high volume procurement segment.

About the job

Job purpose

As a Junior Sourcing Expert, your main objective is to manage sourcing activities on GENEX and IT categories for AXA Group Operations.

 

Main missions

Your responsibilities include:

·       Assist with day-to-day procurement functions in the development of Request for Proposals (RFP) and Request for Qualifications (RFQ).

·       Coordinate and communicate with project teams and external stakeholders during the initial review, negotiation and finalization of competitive solicitations.

·       Apply Vendor Risk framework and work with different SMEs (Legal, Compliance, Data Privacy, Information Security, Operational Resilience) in order to mitigate risks on the contracts

·       Gather and report key contract information including maintaining data controls.

·       Conduct market research and obtain quotes for purchase of goods and services.

·       Assist with contract and procurement audit process, quality improvement initiatives and help develop contracting and RFP process improvements and trainings.

·       Assist with administration and special initiatives, as assigned.

·       Work in a very international environment

 

Expected skills & experience

We are looking for someone with the following experience and skills:

Experience

·       Master Degree in Procurement or MBA level

·       Procurement proficiency, with exposure to sourcing and also tools and processes in Procurement

·       Project management with a focus on action and delivery;

 

Technical skills

·       Knowledge of general business principles or procurement.

·       Experience with the software included in the Microsoft Office Suite and G Suite is preferred, particularly word processing, spreadsheets and database programs.

·       English - Fluent in speaking and writing – French speaking and/or Spanish is a plus

 

Soft skills / transversal skills

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·       Ability to organize and prioritize work, and handle, multiple tasks.

·       Ability to work independently and accurately.

·       Ability to work in a project mode

·       Dynamic

·       Flexibility & adaptation skills
