Within the Group, you will join the Group Risk Management department, that enables sustainable growth and focused plan execution, through growth-enabling risk and control frameworks.

Within this Department, you will be part of the Strategic & Emerging Risks team and report to the Strategic & Emerging Risk Manager. 

Your job and daily missions:

Insurance is about preventing adverse outcomes and protecting customers against risks. In order to carry out this mission to the best of their abilities, insurers need to understand and prepare for the risks of tomorrow. The Strategic and Emerging Risks team aims to identify, understand, and raise awareness on emerging risks, which may have a significant impact on AXA and its clients in the next 5 to 10 years. These are newly developing or changing risks that are generally characterized by major uncertainty.

Your missions: 

  • Identification and qualitative assessment of emerging risks
  • Write the monthly Emerging Risks newsletters to inform and increase the risk awareness of AXA employees worldwide (shared with 4000+ contacts)
  • Review news stories to identify new risks (long term trends, weak signals, regulatory evolutions, technological advances)
  • Contribute to the annual publication of AXA’s Future Risks Report
  • Support and management of an Emerging Risks community, involving operational entities and experts from the AXA Group (organization of meetings, follow-up on implementation of emerging risks framework, production of deliverables)
  • Support to the communication and awareness rising about emerging risks within the AXA Group and promotion of the team’s work (exploratory meetings, frequent exchanges with various stakeholders, participation to seminars and workshops)
  • Production of Emerging Risks studies on topics of interest for the Group (monitoring, research and data gathering, interview with experts, drafting of comprehensive paper)
  • Contribution to transversal studies on key foresight and strategic themes for the AXA Group
