The position

Job description

The UK Country Lead is responsible for developing Batch’s presence in the UK : building the team and developing partner relationships to grow the MRR and customer base.

You will report to the EMEA Sales Director and hire and manage a team of around 6 people (Business Development Representatives and Account Executives) in the first 12 months.

Missions 🚀

Grow MRR

  • Generate qualified sales opportunities (new business and existing clients) using existing processes, tools and resources
  • Manage the entire sales cycle to close deals: discovery and qualification (MEDDPICC framework), pricing proposals and negotiations, legal process to sign new revenue.

Develop our presence

  • Ensure that each local customer becomes an Ambassador and generates opportunities using all available resources
  • Work with our Marketing and Ops teams and partnership engineers to map local partners and targets and develop strong relationships, using implemented processes and tools (partner programme, Reveal, Similarweb)
  • Organise and attend industry events.

Build and Manage the team

  • Build Batch’s team in UK : Business Development Representative, Account Executives, local marketers (with the CMO), Solutions Engineers (with Head of SE) and CSMs (Head of Customer Success).
  • Train, evaluate and foster team member progress. Ensure personal happiness at work as well as collective performance.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team and CRO to optimise processes and knowledge, track performance and replicate existing best practices on your market (onboarding plans, team routines).

  • Excellent spoken and written English, French too would be a bonus
  • 4+ years of experience in Sales, ideally in an Enterprise B2B SaaS company
  • Previous experience in management
  • Great people skills
  • Independent, organised, driven, fast-learner

Recruitment process

Batch follows the same procedure for all its interviews with 4 simple and clear steps for each candidate:

1 - Initial call and introduction (15 to 30 minutes).
2 - Face-to-face interview with HR and the relevant Team Leader (45 minutes).
3 - Conduct and complete a case study, in person or remotely, presenting to 4 or 5 Batch employees.
4 - Meeting with one of the Batch founders (30 to 45 minutes).

At the end of this 4-step process, Batch will make a job offer to the successful candidate.
