You will join the Poker team, whose mission is to develop and enhance our gaming platform. Our system is cloud-native, robust, and scalable, designed to offer users a real-time, smooth, and responsive experience. You'll be working alongside experienced team members who will support your growth and skill development.

YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC

In this role, your main missions will be :

  • Collaborating with the team on the design and performance optimization of the platform 
  • Contributing to the deployment monitoring and ensuring the platform runs smoothly
  • Ensuring the quality of developments delivered
  • Participating in the continuous improvement of code quality, under the guidance of more experienced colleagues
  • Learning and applying best development practices and using the team's tools effectively
  • Having the opportunity to attend internal and external conferences
  • Learning how to ensure development quality through code reviews and testing
  • TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT

  • Languages: Kotlin, TypeScript (basic knowledge is appreciated, but you'll have the opportunity to upskill)
  • CI/CD: Jenkins, Terraform

  • AWS Services: Fargate, Lambda, DynamoDB, Kinesis, S3, SNS, SQS...

  • Quality Assurance: Unit Testing, Integration Testing, End-to-End Testing

  • Additional Tools: Angular, Docker, Localstack (to be explored and mastered as part of the team)

  • WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

    We are looking for passionate and curious professionals who bring kindness and a touch of enthusiasm!

    This job is for you if:

  • You have a degree in computer science (from a 2-year diploma to a Master's level), or you have initial experience (internships, work-study) in backend development
  • You're curious about Kotlin or similar languages
  • Knowledge of TypeScript is a plus, but not mandatory
  • You're rigorous and committed to writing high-quality code
  • You're eager to explore cloud technologies (AWS)
  • You can communicate in English
  • You're passionate about technology and always on the lookout for the latest innovations
  • You're excited by a real technical challenge and can't wait to contribute your own ideas
  • A personal interest in poker or gaming is a plus!
  • WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS?

    If your application is shortlisted, Maxime will contact you within a week for an initial HR screening (30 minutes). Then, you will complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation and cognitive reasoning).

    About two weeks later, you will either take a technical test with one of our Kotlin experts or work on a case study to present to our Senior Software Engineer.

    Next, you will meet your future manager, followed by Camille Reverdy. Finally, Maxime will conduct a final HR interview to review your AssessFirst results together.

    The recruitment process usually takes between 4 to 6 weeks to ensure an optimal experience for you.
