ENTER THE GAME
You will join the Data Analytics team, part of a larger Data team which also includes Data Science, Data Product and Data Analytics teams. The Analytics team mission is to grow the business by identifying critical insights and high value opportunities. You'll integrate a fast-growing team of +30 passionate individuals tackling challenges of all sorts: from scaling marketing campaign analytics to building complex customer segmentations to predicting the outcome of the next football game.
YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC
You will join the Core Analytics team, responsible for core strategic and transverse analytics projects and products, company-wide performance analytics and setting the best methodological practices for the entire Analytics team.
In this key role, you will own the entire axis on Methodologies and Good practices. You will partner with the heads of Data departments, as well as with the Lead Analysts and main Data players to ensure the highest standards in terms of quality, methodology and tech stack of all our analytics deliveries.
Some of the main topics under your scope:
- SQL, DBT and Python: good practices and standards, stack, alignment across Betclic
- Peer reviewing for Analytics: process definition, inter-squad reviews, reviewing workshops
- Analysis documentation
- A/B test processes, good practices and R&D
- Internal and external communications
- Analytics and Data onboarding
- Theory of probability and statistics: good practices, trainings, new techniques
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR?
You should apply if:
- You have a Master 2 in engineering (or equivalent degree)
- You have at least 3 years of Data (Analytics/Science) experience
- You are autonomous and can own different workstreams in parallel
- You have a high level in SQL and Python (familiarity with DBT is a plus!)
- You are fluent in Git, and are fully convinced that code has to be documented, versioned and accessible!
- You enjoy reading about and being at the top of the state of the art in Data
- You have a good analytical mindset, are rigorous, and synthetical
- You have great communication and presentation skills
WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS?
- If your application is shortlisted, you'll be asked to complete an online technical test. Upon passing, Elodie will reach out to schedule a 30-minute HR screening.
- Next, you'll have interviews with Agustina, Senior Data Analytics Manager (your potential manager), and Xavier, Senior Data Analytics Manager, followed by a meeting with Iouri, Chief Data Officer.
- You will then be given a week to prepare a Use Case, which you'll present in person to Agustina and Xavier at our Bordeaux office.
- Finally, you'll have a final HR interview with Elodie, where you will discuss the results of an AssessFirst test (covering drive, fit, and reasoning), which Elodie will send to you beforehand.
In order to provide an optimal applicant experience, the overall hiring process at Betclic lasts 4 to 6 weeks.
