NO TECH NO GAME  

At Betclic, technological performance is at the core of our operations: 

  • Applications fully developed in-house for optimal control over the entire value chain: real-time segmentation, player protection through awareness and rule integration, risk detection, and more. 
  • Interfaces designed for an immersive player experience: highly secure, capable of handling heavy traffic spikes, and integrating live sports streaming. 
  • Tech teams structured into autonomous squads and tribes, each responsible for a specific functional and technical domain, enabling end-to-end project ownership: development, load testing, delivery, and production monitoring (monitoring, alerting). 
  • ENTER THE GAME  

    As a Software Architect, you will join the Architecture Chapter, a team of 6 people whose mission is to support Betclic in deploying its Multi-Cloud strategy. 

    Betclic's Tech teams are organized around Agile development principles, structured into autonomous squads and tribes, each responsible for a specific functional and technical domain. Thanks to this setup, you'll enjoy end-to-end ownership of your projects: development, delivery, and production monitoring.  You build it, you run it! 

    By joining Betclic, you will become part of a cross-functional chapter, where you'll benefit from autonomy, the opportunity to learn from your peers, and work closely with multidisciplinary business teams. 

    YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC  

    In this role, your main missions will be : 

  • Design and contribute to the implementation of technical architectures that address Betclic's strategic and operational challenges 
  • Ensure the technical consistency and maintainability of the solutions 
  • Guarantee compliance with standards and best practices 
  • Support and validate architecture decisions made by development teams 
  • Guide development teams in their transformation towards the Cloud 
  • Work using Agile methodologies to successfully deliver projects in an international context 
  • Lead and share technology watch initiatives with technical teams

  • WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?  

    We are looking for passionate and curious professionals who bring kindness and a touch of enthusiasm! 

    This job is for you if: 

  • You are a graduate of an engineering school 
  • You have at least 10 years of experience in software development with a strong interest in architecture, or at least 2 years in a similar architecture role 
  • You have strong technical skills, are a good listener, an effective communicator, and are looking to join a challenging and stimulating professional environment 
  • You have a solid understanding of key architecture concepts and actively engage in technology watch 
  • And finally, you are fluent in English 
  • WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS?  

    If your application is shortlisted, Marine will contact you within a week for an initial HR screening (30 minutes). Then, you will complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation and cognitive reasoning). 

    You will then meet Thomas, Lead Architect, followed by Yoann, Head of Platform Engineering. 

    Finally, Marine will welcome you for a final HR interview, during which you will debrief your AssessFirst test together. 

    The recruitment process usually takes between 4 to 6 weeks to ensure an optimal experience for you.
