Your Mission
We are looking for an accountant with 6+ years experience in accounts payables and receivables processes to join the Finance team at BlaBlaCar Brazil. Your mission is to be the main point of contact with our local team in BlaBlaCar and external accounting firms in Brazil. As an accountant, your role will be to manage financial operations related to Brazil, including payments, invoices processing, tax declarations.
Your responsibilities:
Organize procurement processes, approve customers and suppliers in our internal system related to Brazil operation, verifying tax compliance, and ensure proper documentation. Manage tax declarations, ensuring timely and accurate submissions Manage and organize payments (payroll, taxes, carriers, expenses reports, and commercial gestures ) with our external partners, control results, and propose process improvements.Support monthly closing procedures and reports.Standardize and improve global procedures according to BBC standards.Your qualifications:
You have 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting, ideally in an accounting firm or auditStrong knowledge of financial regulations and tax processes in Brazil Strong capacity to animate / coordinate / interact with external and internal teamsAnalytical mindsetYou master Excel/Gsheet Native fluency in Portuguese and strong fluency in English (please send your CV in English).Nice to have:Experience with international financial reporting standards (IFRS)
Prior experience in a tech or mobility company
