As a Creative Resources Manager, you will play a key role in managing and optimising the resources of our creative team. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and anticipating needs to allocate the best internal and external resources. Reporting to the Head Of Creative Operations, you will work closely with the Executive Creative Directors, all creatives, and various agency departments to ensure smooth collaboration within the Creation team.
You will manage the schedule of a creative team of Art Directors, Creative Strategists, and Copywriters (+30 people). You will gather, evaluate, and prioritise the agency’s creative needs. As the team’s primary point of contact, you will be the preferred interlocutor of the Client Services department (Accounts Manager/Directors) and will find planning/resource solutions that meet the agency’s business and creative challenges.
Your main tasks will be:
Traffic management for Art Directors, Creative Strategists, Copywriters
Scope booking requests.
Verify and compare requests against quotes / remaining work.
Process requests and update team schedules.
Manage priorities, arbitration, and communication of solutions.
Anticipation and coordination of needs
Collaborate closely with the Client Services department to anticipate upcoming needs.
Create and update workload plans by business unit to prevent overflows and plan solutions in advance.
Support the Creation team’s processes
Organize and plan the main creative processes of the agency.
Find areas for improvement to improve and streamline current processes.
Management of the Freelancer pool
Grow our freelancer and partner network.
Negotiate costs and manage contracts.
Control and process invoicing.
Operational management
Detailed knowledge of the team (strengths/weaknesses, specialities, experiences, soft skills, etc.).
Availability, listening, and proactivity.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a communication/advertising agency as a Creative Traffic Manager/Resource Manager or any other role requiring the planning of creative teams.
Excellent knowledge of the communication industry, the inner workings of an agency, and the various roles of creatives.
Solid ability to prioritise, plan, and proactively propose solutions to ongoing deadlines.
Analytical mind, able to turn what looks complex into a simple workflow framework that everyone understands and follows.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with Account Managers, Creative Directors, and all creatives.
Excellent team management skills and understanding of everyone’s point of view and expectations.
Collaborative, flexible approach for finding solutions.
English proficiency in a professional capacity and native or fluent French.
