Camptocamp is an unusual name for an IT company. That is, until you know its story…
Camptocamp founders - Luc and Claude - are avid mountaineers and wanted to share their experiences online. They built www.camptocamp.org to facilitate the exchange of information between mountain lovers and make the mountains more accessible and safer for all.
Through this project, they gained important technical skills, especially in the area of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) that they commercialized under Camptocamp SA.
From there, the young company grew and added expertise in the Enterprise Resource Management tool Odoo, in IT Infrastructure services, and in Open Source Subscription Management.
