ABOUT THE POSITION
CFM is looking to strengthen its Portfolio team by recruiting a dynamic software engineer, with a passion for elegant, clean and efficient software.
The Portfolio team is at the core of CFM's business strategy. Its mission is to ensure the construction and monitoring of portfolios in both production and simulation environments, covering various asset classes including equities, futures, and options. The simulation platform is a back-testing framework designed to validate the models our quant researchers submit and check their ongoing contribution.

Leveraging strong Python knowledge and experience with data analytics libraries, you will work closely with fellow developers and the research team to improve and optimize the software architecture used in portfolio construction.
Experience in the finance industry is a bonus but not mandatory. If you have developed impactful software in any industry, we’ll teach you the finance concepts needed to succeed in our business.
Your responsibilities:
- Contribute to CFM's technology initiatives (Cloud, AI) including the development of our High-Performance Computing (HPC) framework on AWS, capable of processing hundreds of thousands of jobs daily.
- Oversee the development, technical enhancements, and technical support of production and simulation platform.
- Promote and lead re-architecture of said platform when needed.
- Take part in the specification and development of new features for portfolio construction applications, in collaboration with quant developers and research teams.
