Job description

Reporting to the Group marketing director, you lead the team of policy worders at Headquarter level, with a view to support all TCI standard offers across our 100 markets and in 40+ languages. The team includes three main activities :

  • Producing the standard wording blocks in English for TradeLiner, GlobaLiner, EasyLiner and all related packages
  • Steering the process whereby such wording blocks are made available in all jurisdictions and languages, which may imply an intermediary step of adaptation
  • Organizing the repository named Clause Book, a unique software developed by Coface to store the clause library and support all processes associated with the clause creations, adaptations, translations and approvals, for which the team is product owner.

Missions

  • Ensure proper delivery of new wording at HQ level, within reasonable turnaround times (i.e. the own production of the team)
  • Ensure proper delivery of new wording at local level, within reasonable turnaround times and as needed giving priority levels and/or business requirements (local or CGS). This is a supervision role for work that is delivered by the countries.
  • Define, maintain and enforce rules and procedures for wording creation.
  • Prepare, animate and minute the Simplification committee, the HQ forum where new clauses are approved.
  • Collect, analyze all new needs and bring the best possible answer in the light of the strategic objective of simplification (avoid clause proliferation).
  • Improve Clause Book to support our strategic objectives and facilitate users’ work
  • Maintain wording competencies in HQ and throughout the Group, developing with HR succession / development plans for these rare and critical profiles
  • NB : the process of “Business adaptations” is out of the mission (i.e. the wording adjustments made for one specific client), as it falls under the responsibility of Commercial underwriting

Competencies

  • 10 years of experience in wording and management team
  • Excellent understanding of trade receivables management and credit insurance
  • Legal academic background or strong legal acumen
  • Solution orientation, ability to foster consensus, to align conflicting views
  • Detailed organizer combined with a capacity to influence and to adhere to the general objectives of the function (support the business, simplify)
  • Technical leadership (or capacity to develop it)
