The ICON Business Owner for Operations will play a pivotal role in supporting the Operations team and regional Business Owner (BO) teams by leveraging their subject matter expertise to evaluate and enhance business operations. This individual will be responsible for identifying opportunities for technical and functional improvements within the ICON system to boost operational performance and data quality.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Support:
    • Collaborate with the Operations team and regional BO teams to assess and evaluate current business operations.
    • Provide expert advice and support on issues or challenges related to ICON operational processes.
    • Conduct regular reviews and analysis to identify areas where technical and functional solutions within ICON can enhance operations performance and data quality.
  2. Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify and recommend technical and functional improvements in ICON to streamline operations and improve data accuracy.
    • Work with relevant stakeholders to implement approved changes and monitor their impact on operations.
  3. Everest Project Involvement:
    • Document the "as is" status of ICON BO processes and systems.
    • Actively participate in project discussions and contribute to the formulation of recommendations for future enhancements.
    • Ensure that project objectives align with the operational goals and deliverables.
  4. Liaison with BT:
    • Act as the primary point of contact between the Operations team and the BT team concerning operational defects related to the ICON Back Office.
    • Track and manage the resolution of operational defects, ensuring timely and effective communication between teams.
  5. Training and Documentation:
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of ICON BO processes and improvements.
    • Provide training and support to the Operations team and regional BO teams to ensure a thorough understanding of ICON functionalities and best practices.

Preferred experience

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business operations, with a strong focus on process improvement and system management.
    • Proven expertise in using ICON or similar enterprise systems.
    • Experience in a liaison role between operational and technical teams.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex business operations and identify improvement opportunities.
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing operational challenges.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to provide clear advice and support to various stakeholders.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Familiarity with business process management tools and techniques.
    • Basic understanding of IT and system development principles.
