The position

Job description

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate cash flow forecasts, considering short-term and long-term projections, to ensure sufficient liquidity for the company’s operations

  • Oversee day-to-day treasury operations across our nine current markets, including cash disbursements, transfers, liquidity management, and the Group’s CAPEX plan.

  • Assist the CFO in raising senior debt, such as large credit line facilities across Europe and the US to further support our growth

  • Manage the Group’s financial debt.

  • Manage the interest payment schedules maturities and work closely with the accounting department to ensure proper recognition in the Group’s financials

  • Identify and mitigate financial risks related to cash management, such as liquidity, interest rate, and foreign exchange risks. Develop further interest and foreign exchange hedging policies

Additional responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions, negotiate favorable terms, and stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes

  • Work closely with the controllers to ensure that projects are aligned to their fund allocation as validated by the Management Board

  • Continuously evaluate and improve cash management processes and systems using technology and automation tools

  • Monitor the company’s cash position and implement cash management techniques (cash pooling, etc.) to ensure adequate funds for operations and capital expenditures

  • Optimize working capital by managing accounts payable and receivable, inventory levels, and cash conversion cycles. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve cash flow efficiency


Preferred experience

Minimum 7 to 10+ years of overall combined finance or treasury experience.

Knowledge of the real estate industry is a plus.

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

  • Experience with financial modeling and analysis to support budgeting and forecasting processes

  • Strong communication skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Fluency in English and French is required
