Job description

We’re looking for a driven and hands-on Project Management Intern to support our renovation and property operations in London. This is a paid 6-month internship with a clear intention to transition into a full-time role for the right candidate.

You’ll work closely with our Senior Project Manager and UK team to support the delivery of high-quality co-living houses, from acquisition to launch and ongoing operations. This is a unique opportunity to learn the ins and outs of real estate development, construction, and property management - all while being part of a mission-driven and fast-growing company.

We don’t require a specific degree. You could be studying (or have studied) anything -what matters most is your attitude, curiosity, and drive to get things done.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Support: Assist the Senior Project Manager in planning, executing, and delivering renovation projects.

  • Stakeholder Coordination: Work with internal teams (designers, product, architects, engineers) and external partners (contractors, suppliers, energy providers).

  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits and ensure projects meet Cohabs’ design and construction standards.

  • Full Lifecycle Exposure:

    • Acquisition Phase: Assist with site setup, logistics, and early design input.

    • Construction Phase: Support the coordination of works on-site, from structure to finishings.

    • Delivery Phase: Help with final house setup, testing, furnishing, and handover.

  • Property Maintenance Support: Assist in the ongoing upkeep and maintenance of our properties post-renovation.

  • Tenant & Community Support: Provide hands-on support to our property management team and help onboard new tenants into the Cohabs community.

  • Problem-Solving & Initiative: Identify inefficiencies, suggest improvements, and help streamline our processes.

Preferred experience

Who You Are

  • You’re near the end of your studies or recently graduated.

  • Your background could be in anything related to business, design, construction, architecture, sustainability, hospitality—what matters is your interest in real estate, project management and operations.

  • You’re proactive, organised, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • You enjoy getting your hands dirty, solving problems, and taking ownership.

  • You’re a strong communicator and a team player.

  • You’re fluent in English (other languages are a plus).
