Job description

About the team:

The Content Marketing team sits within the Corporate Marketing department, which is responsible for corporate messaging, branding, content creation, creative, communications, and PR. Reporting to the Sr. Content Marketing Manager, you’ll be a key player in shaping DataDome’s narrative, creating impactful content, and driving growth across global markets. Our team is the creative engine propelling DataDome’s mission to free the web of fraudulent traffic. We’re a team of storytellers and strategists with a passion for elevating DataDome’s voice.

Your scope:

As the Content Marketing Specialist, you will focus on the creation and delivery of high-quality content that drives engagement and highlights the value of our Cyberfraud Protection Platform. You’ll be tasked with creating multi-channel content in various mediums to support sales, marketing campaigns, and customer success. This role also includes reviewing content to ensure it follows brand guidelines and is optimized for a technical audience.

We’re looking for a storyteller with a sharp pen, a strategic mind, and an appetite for content about cybersecurity. You thrive on turning complex ideas into compelling stories and know how to align messaging across channels for maximum impact. If you love copy editing, spotting trends, and testing out innovative marketing tactics, this role is for you.

👉 You will be more specifically in charge of things like...

  • Writing and producing content for marketing initiatives, including translating complex cybersecurity and technical concepts into engaging blogs, reports, video scripts, infographics, and other multi-media formats.
  • Collaborating with Product Marketing and DataDome Advanced Threat Research to help them produce technical content including product pages, briefs, and threat reports.
  • Planning and updating the content calendar, ensuring content ties back to key objectives and themes.
  • Efficiently managing and responding to incoming content requests.
  • Monitoring main trends and topics of interest for our personas: fraud and security leaders, CTOs, and CISOs.
  • Maintaining sales enablement content, including slide decks and one-pagers.
  • Monitoring and optimizing content performance metrics to refine strategies.
  • Tracking and reporting content metrics, making recommendations to increase our content’s usage and impact.
  • Managing and enhancing our global library of standard content, including (but not limited to) blog posts, reports, briefs, customer stories, decks, scripts, messaging frameworks, webinars, and videos.
  • Maintaining a scalable, repeatable process for content input, development, and reviews, including coordinating internal and external resources to ensure content meets quality standards and deadlines.
  • Managing writing guidelines to ensure consistency across channels.
  • Briefing and guiding agency partners or internal creative teams to develop high-quality deliverables that abide by our brand’s tone of voice.
  • Contributing to building templates and processes to promote self-service and communication best practices across the organization (e.g., turning content into actionable snippets, quotes, social media assets, etc.).
  • Supporting ABM marketing campaigns and thematic planning tied to product launches and industry trends.
  • Conducting research, interviews, and collaboration with marketing and sales teams to uncover and craft compelling narratives.
  • Working closely with freelance writers and AI tools to scale content production efficiently.
  • Utilizing tools like Asana, Notion, Canva, and Figma to streamline content development and delivery.

👤 It would be great if you have…

  • 3+ years of experience in content marketing within a B2B tech organization (cybersecurity experience is a massive plus).
  • Proven experience in content marketing for B2B tech with large enterprise customers.
  • A strong track record of managing content for multiple audiences and channels, preferably at a high-growth, technology company: shaping messaging, supporting campaigns, and writing stories for technical personas.
  • You are a natural storyteller with exceptional writing, editing, and visual communication skills, with a talent for expressing complex ideas in simple, but not simplistic copy.
  • Excellent project management skills; highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • You enjoy staying up to date on the latest use of AI to create content, including creating custom GPT models.
  • You stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to identify fresh content opportunities at each stage of the funnel.
  • You have a portfolio showcasing diverse, high-impact content assets.
  • You have a deep understanding of ABM strategies, UX best practices, and conversion-focused content creation.
  • You have experience loading content into Content Management Systems, such as WordPress, and adhere to best practices for SEO and content optimization.
  • You are proficient in tools like WordPress, Canva, Figma, Asana, and Notion, with a strong eye for design and branding.
  • You are used to managing multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • You have experience identifying trends and extracting actionable insights from content performance analytics using tools such as Google Analytics, Salesforce, Tableau, Hotjar, etc.

What’s in it for you?

  • Flex Life: Remote, hybrid, & in-office options, including working from our NY office, located in Soho + $500 stipend to help you set up your ideal workspace.
