To keep pace with growth, Datawords is looking for a:
Country HR Manager (F/M)
For Datawords Office in Barcelona (90 people), reporting the local General Manager and to Global HR Director based in Paris, you will lead the HR function of the Spain office based in Barcelona.
Your main responsibilities would include:
Support managers in their role throughout the managerial cycle (recruitment, review process, compensation, talent management, conflicts and departures) in compliance with the local regulation and the group policies ;
Understand the business challenges and pro-actively act as a change agent to support organizational changes, in line with our culture ;
Support employees during their company lifecycle (recruitment, on-boarding, training, internal mobility, off-boarding, etc.) ;
Contribute to a good social climate by preparing and leading works council meetings, providing efficient and interactive internal communications and town hall discussions ;
Ensure a fun and comfortable workplace for employees and develop adapted HR policies, processes and tools ;
Foster the group culture and roll out global projects locally (talent management, HRIS, etc.) ;
Steer the HR campaigns of the annual cycle (performance management, talent management, succession plans, compensation reviews) and contribute to the international HR community by participating in global projects ;
Manage payroll execution in partnership with an external vendor ;
Manage one HR Assistant/Office Manager.
Master’s degree in human resource management ;
Minimum of 6 years of solid experience as an HR Generalist, HR Manager or HR Business Partner, with a minimum of 3 years supervisory/managerial role ;
Experience working in a dynamic, multinational and multicultural company ;
Must be familiar with Spanish labor laws and regulations ;
Ability to work with senior leaders and top management to assess complex issues and provide HR guidance and advice ;
Ability to define problems, establish facts, analyze situations, and make strong and strategic decisions ;
Can work independently and with minimal supervision ;
Excellent written and verbal communication ;
Fluent in English.
