Your area of work:

As an Antitrust Compliance Officer, you will be working in a team of compliance and regulatory specialists of Deutsche Börse AG who are mitigating compliance risks by various measures, including the monitoring and assessment of developments in applicable regulatory requirements. As such, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with antitrust related legal and regulatory requirements and mitigation of antitrust related risk within Deutsche Börse Group. You will collaborate closely with various departments to implement, develop, and maintain an efficient and effective antitrust compliance framework and provide behavioural guidance to employees throughout the organization.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Identify sources of antitrust related compliance risk, assess related risks and identify potential areas of non-compliance 
  • Derive, review, structure, document, and execute, risk-based mitigating measures under consideration of DBAG’s business model, including the development and review of policies and procedures tailored to DBG’s business model and its related antitrust compliance risks
  • Raise awareness for antitrust compliance within DBG, including the preparation of trainings on antitrust compliance matters for employees 
  • Serve as a subject matter expert an antitrust compliance matters
  • Prepare antitrust-related compliance reports and disclosures to senior management  
  • Work with various group entities and areas exposed to antitrust compliance risk as well as Group Legal to minimise antitrust compliance risks

 

Your profile:

  • University degree in law, business administration, economics or related fields
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in Compliance or Legal, preferably with focus on Compliance Management Systems
  • Profound knowledge of competition law and related requirements as well as industry best practice 
  • Strong writing, conceptual and methodological skills, ability to communicate positions in a clear and structured manner
  • Ability to work in a team and in a matrix organisation within a multicultural and multi-location, international environment with high level of initiative, commitment and motivation
  • Proficiency in German and English is a must
