Your area of work:

As member of Backup administration team, you will provide support to IT mission critical applications and will ensure that maximum service level is provided to customers on a 24-hour basis.

Your responsibilities:

• Participate in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the backup infrastructure
• Create and maintain detailed documentation and procedures of the backup environment in all aspects of its utilization; ensure associated work in compliance with the documented procedures.
• Ensure operational stability of the field of responsibility
• Provide escalation support following processes and interacting appropriately with other departments and end users, when required
• Take part in on-call rotation

Your profile:

• University degree (master or diploma) in IT related discipline or equivalent through relevant work experience
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• At least 2 years of experience on similar position
• Fundamentals Unix/Linux administration, shell scripting, Perl, and Python programming
• First experience with backup management, notions with Veritas Netbackup software, Veritas Netbackup appliances/FLEX, Tape library management (IBM), IBM COS is an advantage.
• Network notions, Cloud platforms - GCP or Azure notions
• IT problem-solving skills
• Good communication and analytical skills
• Proven ability to work in both standalone and team mode
• Ability to learn fast.
