The Data Supply Chain entity is the centre of expertise covering all the challenges of transforming the supply chain using a data-driven approach.Divided into five business areas, including Demand & Assortment Planning, the multi-disciplinary data teams develop and industrialise analytical solutions and machine learning models for all Decathlon's supply functions.
The data teams work in partnership with the other supply chain entities, in particular the business and product management teams, but also with the Data Platform.
The Supply Chain Demand & Assortment Planning data team is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining innovative analytical and AI solutions for supply chain issues such as supply chain sales forecasts (e.g. sales forecasts for new products), product assortment planning and stock optimisation.
This multi-disciplinary data team is made up of Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Data Analysts and BI Engineers.It works in close collaboration with the data product managers and business partners, using an agile methodology and a state-of-the-art technical stack.
As part of an internal job creation, we are recruiting a Data Science Manager on a permanent contract based in Lille or Paris.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in time series forecasting and supply chain management, and a solid track record in managing and developing high-performance, multidisciplinary data teams.
