The position

Job description

You love music, pop culture and entertainment and are looking for your first step in communications and PR? You have a relevant background and education within marketing, comms, project management or similar? You’re fluent in both French and English? Deezer is looking for an apprentice to support the external communications team in its HQ in Paris, France. The role will focus on supporting communications activities, including press and media relations, for France.

What you will do:

  • Assist and collaborate with the Senior PR Manager to increase share of voice across earned media in France
  • Participate in the development and execution of PR plans for Deezer’s various projects such as product news, campaigns, events and many more
  • Support the team with regular research on the streaming industry and pop culture to support development of creative communications activities
  • Assist the team on day-to-day operations such as preparation of press materials (e.g.drafting press releases), communication with agencies and internal stakeholders and regular PR reportings 
  • Participate in meetings and projects together with Deezer’s French based PR agency.

Preferred experience

Qualifications:

  • Native French level with excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong desire to learn and a professional drive
  • Passion for communication and storytelling
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Proficiency MS Office and Google Workspace
