We’re looking for a Market Research & Translation Assistant to support projects targeting localized markets in Brazil, Germany, and Mexico. We’re seeking native speakers or bilingual profiles to assist with the setup process by performing market research and translation tasks to help the team gain contextual understanding of the local markets. The work will focus on the following activities:
Researching local sources: Suggest relevant local sources, including market trends, consumer insights, or industry-specific information.
Writing and refining localized content: Producing accurate, contextually appropriate translations and materials in the target languages (Brazilian Portuguese, German, etc.).
Providing Brief Summaries: Summarize findings in clear and concise reports or documents.
This will require approximately 5 days of work spread out between January and June. The specific time frame is not yet set, so flexibility is required.
Currently enrolled in an academic program or recently graduated in fields such as linguistics, translation, marketing, cultural studies, or a related area
Native fluency or bilingual proficiency in Portuguese, German, or Mexican Spanish
Proficiency in English is a must to communicate effectively with the team and understand project needs
Ability to identify and evaluate reliable local sources, experience or interest in market research is preferred
Deep understanding of local market nuances, including cultural trends and industry-specific information
Experience translating or writing content with a focus on accuracy and cultural relevance
Previous experience with translation, localization projects, or market research is a plus
