Your area of work:

The Network Engineering Trading Team at Deutsche Boerse Group (DBG) is a dynamic and globally distributed team responsible for designing, building, and maintaining DBG’s trading networks. Our mission is to provide reliable and efficient trading data services to our global customers. With team members located in Frankfurt and Prague, we collaborate closely with the Data Center Team to ensure seamless data center services.
Role Overview: As a Network Security and Compliance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring security and compliance within the network domain. You’ll be involved in audits, act as the security and compliance interface across departments, and contribute to the development of network standards. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining DBG’s global trading networks.

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Security and Compliance: Manage and implement requirements related to network security and compliant operations.
  • Coordination: Ensure compliance across the network team and coordinate efforts to meet regulatory standards.
  • Audits: Support audits, and conduct self-assessments to verify compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Interface: Serve as the liaison between various departments .
  • Network Standards: Independently contribute to the development and enforcement of DBG network standards.

 

Your Profile:

  • Education: Completed university degree in computer science, IT security, or a comparable field.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of network technologies, including routing, switching, and security.
  • Experience: Proven track record in supporting implementation regulatory requirements and supporting in audits.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Effective Communication: Clear communication skills to convey technical concepts effectively to various audiences.
  • Cisco Expertise: Practical experience with Cisco routers and Access Control Lists (ACLs).
