At Digiteq Automotive, we care about the satisfaction of our employees and want to make it possible to combine work with their free time and family. We therefore offer flexible working hours, 37.5 hours of work, and, if the position allows the possibility of working from home.

At the same time, we want our employees to feel comfortable in our offices. That is why we try to make our offices in Prague, Mladá Boleslav, Pilsen, and Brno modern and pleasant to work in and for breaks during the day. For those who have a long commute to these locations, we offer pendler commuting options, and in Ostrava, we offer the possibility of working desks in shared offices.

Prague

Prague is our headquarters and home office for more than 400 employees. We have two offices here: in Novodvorská Street (our headquarters) and in AFI Tower in Kolbenova. As we are constantly growing, we are adding more floors to the Kolbenova branch. For now, the branch is dedicated to colleagues from the software department, but gradually the administrative and support departments, as well as the company management, will move there. Then we have a UX lab and testing centres at Novodvorská.

Mlada Boleslav

We have three branches in Mlada Boleslav, and it is the second largest location in terms of number of employees. We are located right in the historical centre of Mlada Boleslav—on Old Town Square and then a little further on Ptácká Street. In Boleslav, our teams focus mainly on comfort and assistance functions and systems or on testing electronics in vehicles.

The Pilsen branch is located in the city centre and offers a beautiful view of the Šafaříkovy sady. Two floors of modern offices with smaller open spaces offer space for about 60 employees of the Pilsen team at the same time. Our focus here is the development and testing of software for driver assistance systems and the development of VW OS.

In Brno, we have our newest branch, opening in April 2024, which is located on almost 600 sqm in the Vlněna CTP office park. Less than two years ago, we started in Brno with an office in Impact Hub with five pioneers; now the team has almost 50 members. In Brno, we handle software development and testing for driver assistance systems, contribute to the development of VW. OS, develop and test infotainment systems, and are dedicated to automated testing.

Digiteq Automotive designs, develops, and deploys complex electronic systems that make driving safer and more comfortable. For example, they teach cars to perform selected actions autonomously or ensure that cars "talk"; not only to each other but also to you and their surroundings. Their parent companies, Skoda Auto and CARIAD, are part of the Volkswagen Group, as is Digiteq Automotive. This allows them to participate in projects for several of the Volkswagen Group´s brands. They boast state-of-the-art development and testing laboratories in Prague, Pilsen, Mladá Boleslav, and the latest in Brno. Some of their biggest projects include robotic parking or carsharing technology.

Who we are looking for

The range of services they provide, and therefore the variety of profiles they look for in a company, is wide. They are expanding their teams with both junior candidates (and fresh graduates) and experienced professionals, not only from the automotive world. The candidates must have an interest in new technologies, team spirit, knowledge of a foreign language (AJ or NJ), and a desire to participate in creating the future of the automotive industry.

They understand that everyone has a personal life. If needed, it is no problem to take time off that is not taken from vacation. Later in the month, the day off can be made up with overtime. Since they are in the automotive industry, they can offer their employees services that they do not get as individuals. For example, more advantageous operating leases or services on Skoda cars. They invest heavily in training and tailor courses to suit everyone´s needs for their job.

It's good to know

They test electronic systems in laboratories before they can go out into the world. In virtual reality, they can simulate complex situations, including traffic obstacles, and take driver behavior into account. This allows them to try out several scenarios to determine which one will better prepare the software under test for the real world. The sharing economy has been a trend in recent years, so they are working on systems that will make car sharing easier, even for older cars.
