Inception of Discngine
Founded in 2004 by two Pfizer alumni, Discngine started as a consulting firm for Lab Automation & Discovery IT. The company rapidly evolved, launching its first software product in 2008 and its inaugural SaaS solution in 2014, marking a shift to a dual focus on services and product licenses.
In 2015, Discngine embraced a teal organizational structure, moving away from traditional hierarchies to foster greater team empowerment and innovation. This change paralleled their growth in SaaS, bolstered by a €1.1 million Series A investment in 2017 for the development of the 3decision platform.
A significant milestone in 2023 saw Discngine being acquired by the Chemical Computing Group, expanding its horizons and solidifying its position as a leader in the interconnection of science and technology.
Today, Discngine keeps innovating internally through its management style and externally with its customers.
