SvelteKit, our rising star of 2022 in dev front.
It has become the basis for our recent front-end projects, and its smooth learning curve and high performance were the keys to our choice.
Nomad from HashiCorp, a flexible orchestrator, is central to our infra
Easy to configure, it manages tasks and services, enabling reliable, scalable deployments. Its effective simplicity is in line with our vision of innovation.
Metabase is the key tool for exposing reports to customers and sharing
Easy and effective, it makes data analysis accessible to everyone, promoting transparency and collaboration.
Organisation et méthodologies
The team is structured horizontally, with an engineering manager and lead techs, followed by the team of developers.
Peer programming is common practice and encouraged. There are specialised teams according to skills, but they remain flexible, allowing easy transitions between back-end, front-end and data.
We follow the Shape-Up method: cycles of 6 weeks of development, followed by 2 weeks of cooldown.
Projets et défis techniques
The Bidder
DOOH advertising in real time, with multiple activation factors - weather, pollution, etc. - is a real technical challenge today. We face several challenges on a daily basis: qualifying screens with a large amount of data, being able to target more than 1.2 million screens according to hundreds of criteria and a high-performance real-time purchasing mechanism.
Golang server using RTB (Real-time bidding) protocol. It's impossible to get bored with it - there are always improvements to be made or performance to be enhanced. For fans of low-level code where performance is the watchword.
The Data Platform
API designed to target screens effectively according to a large number of criteria (geospatial, screen qualifiers, relevance of surrounding audience). Intensive use of SQL and Python3, with extensive interaction with PostGIS. In short, a fine SQL pre-processor.
