The Role

Reporting to the Global Marketing Director, the Marketing and Events Manager supports global marketing initiatives for DNA Script to drive awareness and customer acquisition. This role involves overseeing marketing campaigns, managing tradeshow & event logistics and coordinating closely with product management and sales teams to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth.

Main Responsibilities

Campaign Management:

  • Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring timely delivery of all campaign elements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to produce high-quality marketing materials, content and sales tools.
  • Track and analyze customer engagement across all touchpoints, including website visits, email interactions, social media activity, and event participation.
  • Maintain and update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with accurate lead and customer information.

Event Planning and Management:

  • Plan and execute trade show events, including developing and managing budgets, booth design, setup, and teardown and coordination with vendors and venue staff.
  • Develop strategies for attendee engagement and train on-site staff for effective representation.

Market Insights and Go-to-Market Support:

  • Foster strong relationships with the sales team, application scientists, and product management to ensure marketing strategies align with sales goals and product development plans.
  • Collaborate with sales and product management to understand customer needs and market trends, incorporating these insights into marketing campaigns.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Track and analyze trade show KPIs, prepare post-event reports, and collect attendee feedback to improve future events.
  • Monitor and analyze metrics for campaign performance and other engagement tactics, using data to optimize and adjust future strategies for maximum effectiveness.
  • Create and share dashboards and visual tools to enable stakeholders to better understand and visualize the impact of marketing on business performance.

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of experience in marketing and tradeshow management in life sciences
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and content creation.
  • Experience working with life science-focused publishers, media houses, conference organizers and other relevant channel outlets.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and multitasking skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools (HubSpot, marketing automation, Google Analytics).
