While Large Language Models (LLMs) like GPT-4, Claude or Mistral Large are already very powerful, they remain unwieldy and, as a result, vastly underused. Rather than focusing on developing new foundation models, Dust is laser-focused on the product experience. We believe that existing models are powerful enough, and that most of the value can be unlocked and delivered to customers by refining product experiences, interfaces, and interactions with applications powered by LLMs and fueled by customer data.
We’re a small and determined team of optimists that likes to focus on customers, getting great things done by shipping, and doesn’t take itself too seriously while doing so. We want to build a team that remains as small as it can be while serving a growing number of customers incredibly well.
We’ve been founders before. We’ve worked at Stripe, Square, Alan, Front, OpenAI, etc... We know what can happen when a few people feel empowered and work together well with a clear purpose in sight.
As a Sales Account Executive at Dust, you will be instrumental in generating new business opportunities to fuel our sales pipeline. We are looking for a generalist that is comfortable with handling all parts of the sales funnel from lead generation to closing and can wear many hats. Passion for Dust, hunger to learn and motivation to perform are musts for this role.
Joining Dust also means pioneering a new form of Business Development. As a GenAI-native company, Dust aims to illustrate how GenAI can help redefine the experience customers can expect from software and how sales teams can be designed with GenAI in mind.
You’ll contribute to building a new product and category from the ground up in a fast-paced environment that encourages a doer attitude and ownership over outcomes.
Generate qualified leads and unblock opportunities. Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through targeted outreach. Conduct discovery and qualification calls with senior leaders at large enterprises and set the stage for effective sales follow-up.
Quarterback sales deals until completion. Set the stage for effective follow-ups until the deal is signed.
Drive market expansion across European territories. Identify and develop new market opportunities in EU countries, establish a strong presence in key regions, and build strategic relationships to facilitate market entry.
Continuously improve our sales motion. Determine persona targets and develop prospecting plans and strategies to gain access to key accounts. Work closely with the marketing team to execute campaigns.
Excellent communication skills in both English and French to effectively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders across Europe. Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude.
Curiosity, eagerness to learn, adaptability, and a flair for elegant solutions to first-of-its-kind problems.
Proficiency in CRM software, ideally Hubspot, and sales automation tools - preferred, but not required.
A hard worker with the ability to be flexible as the needs of Dust evolve - no job is too big or too small.
Must be a European resident and have work authorization.
