.The Senior Accountant (EMEA) is ultimately responsible for the final Trial Balances for several European entities managed by the Maidenhead based EMEA Finance Shared Service Centre. Working as part of a wider accounting team, this person will be responsible for the monthly management of accounts within the region, monthly reporting, tax compliance and the preparation of annual financial statements and completion of audits amongst other responsibilities. They must be proactive and deadline driven, willing to look at existing processes from new perspectives and help to guide and mentor less experienced members of the team.This role works closely with other EMEA Senior Accountants, Accounting Managers, Accounts Payable, Payroll and Tax to ensure Dynatrace’s books and records are accurate and compliant with both US and local GAAPs.
Responsibilities: · Preparing monthly management accounts under US-GAAP: o Accruals/prepayments journals as necessary o Liaison with all members of the Shared Services Centre in the UK who will have input into those numbers to ensure accuracy and understanding o Management reporting to corporate deadlines including analysis of accounts and the production of variance commentary o Full understanding and monthly reconciliation of all Balance Sheet accounts to ensure accurate recording incl. payroll related accounts (commission, bonus, shares, ESPP and associated taxes) · Timely completion of annual financial statements, audits and tax calculations working in conjunction with local advisors and corporate auditors. Monthly local reporting such as statistics and tax compliance · Ensure all VAT returns are prepared and submitted in a timely manner · Perform regular SOX controls for AP and Payroll transactions · Weekly bank reconciliations for multiple entities · Ensuring legal compliance with respect to filings and statutory reports · Collaborate with AP to solve vendor payment queries · Production of monthly cash flow forecast · Assist with the production of the quarterly and yearly tax package · Work with the EMEA Tax team to co-ordinate & manage local tax audits · Business partnering to gain knowledge for more accurate monthly reporting and forecastingAd-hoc involvement in ongoing process improvement and standardisation projects
