Position details:
Contract: permanent full time
Location: Toulouse (31), partial remote is possible
You will be part of our localization team, responsible of one of the most critical component of EasyMile’s solution. The localization component provides a real time, high fidelity vehicle position & orientation. By combining and fusing sensor information (lidar, GNSS, IMU, Camera), you will contribute to improve our accuracy, availability and robustness in any kind of environment (indoor & outdoor) or mission (public transport, freight…)
Your future responsibilities:
Find, design and implement new approaches to vehicle localisation
Improve our multi-sensor localisation algorithms and architecture
Improve localisation integrity and availability

We are looking for:
Master in Robotics, Computer Science, or related field
Theoretical and practical knowledge of data fusion tools (bayesian filtering, optimization, …)
Experience with perception sensors (lidars, cameras, radars, …), or localization sensors (GNSS, IMU, …)
Familiarity with mapping and localization algorithms
Good technical knowledge in C++
Fluent in French and English
Desirable:
PhD or at least 3 to 5 years experience in Robotics or Computer Science field
Experience with real-time constraints and hardware interfaces
30 minutes call with the recruitment team
Meeting with the team, technical tests
One hour interview with the manager and the recruitment advisor
