🏠 What do we do ?

Born in 2021 from the desire to make cities less polluted and less noisy, Electra is helping to shift usage towards electric mobility by tackling the main obstacle of recharging. Electra is constantly innovating to facilitate the recharging of electric vehicles with a network of fast recharging hubs (15 to 30 minutes maximum) and a user experience simplified to the maximum.

Based in Paris, Lyon, Brussels, Milan, Zurich, Vienna, Madrid and Munich Electra's teams aim to deploy a network of 14,500 charging points by 2030; proud to participate in the energy transition in France and Europe. For cities without noise and pollution!

In 3 years we have :

• Provided more than 1000 fast charging points
• Secured enough stations to make Electra a market leader
• Opened several offices in France and Europe

💼 Your Team

The internal tools team is a new team that will be in charge of building Electra’s business and corporate infrastructure. By combining in-house applications and commercial technologies, they will build a platform that advances Electra’s strategy and improve operational excellence.

The internal tools team will be part of the Data and Information Systems team, who’s mission is to ensure that Electra is equipped with the best in class technology to operate.

🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️ Your Responsibilities

As the first member of the internal tools team, you will have a lot of autonomy to shape Electra’s internal platform and technology choices. From the design and architecture of this internal platform to its deployment and operationalisation, you will have an end-to-end approach to solving concrete problems at the center of Electra’s organisation.

Here are some of the missions you will work on:

• You will own our in-house internal applications, refine our strategy and continue developing them as strategical investments for Electra.
• Given the nature of our business and of the team, you will be working a lot with data and geospatial data, for example to make sure that our sales team is equipped with the right information to guide their search and decision process for future locations.
• You will also work closely with our corporate and finance teams, to build an integrated system and remove information access barriers.
• You will have the opportunity to improve everyone’s productivity and happiness at work by finding new solutions to long term pain points, with the right technology.
• Your software expertise will be leveraged to take make or buy decisions and help less tech-savvy teams choose the right solutions for them, that work seamlessly with our internal platform.

💚 Your Profile

• Writing effective, scalable code using Python to build production-ready application. Knowledge of some python frameworks (FastAPI, Django)
• Appetence to manipulate large datasets
• Able to understand complex systems and map information flows
• Experience with software integrations and data pipelines that connect multiple systems
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders and good communication to explain complex problems to business partners

😎 Bonus

• Knowledge of the basic infrastructure concepts behind the deployment of online applications (AWS)
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform)
