Epigene Labs is looking for a Data Product Management Intern for a 6-month end-of-studies internship, starting between January and June 2025.

As a Data Product Management Intern, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our data operations. You’ll work closely with our computational biology, data science, and engineering teams to design, develop, and maintain a robust data operations monitoring dashboard. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product management, data analytics, and bioinformatics.

Responsibilities

• Develop a data operations monitoring dashboard: Design and implement a comprehensive dashboard to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to data ingestion, processing, and quality.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams: Work closely with computational biologists, data scientists, and engineers to gather requirements, analyze data, and ensure the dashboard meets the needs of our users.

• Participate in day-to-day product operations: Contribute to product planning, roadmap development, and feature prioritization.

• Analyze and interpret data: Use data-driven insights to identify trends, optimize processes, and improve the overall efficiency of our data operations.

• Documentation: Prepare and communicate your findings with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Management or a related field.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Metabase, PowerBI).

• Strong ability to communicate your ideas and collaborate with a diverse team.

• A passion for data-driven innovation and a desire to make a positive impact in healthcare.
