The position

Job description

Within the Customer Engagement Department, the Director of Data marketing/CRM Consulting collaborate with project managers and contributes to the agency’s development on topics related to Relationship Marketing.

You will work on the business development of a major international client account in the pet food industry, located in Barcelona, Spain

 In this capacity, you are responsible for transforming new opportunities

  • You support and retain your clients by providing strategic consulting through cross-functional recommendations covering all EPSILON’s expertise.
  • Responsible for both client satisfaction and service profitability, in collaboration with production teams, you ensure the quality and coordination of deliverables between EPSILON's business teams, other Publicis agencies, and the client.
  • You play a key role in tenders, pitches, consultations, proposals, etc.

 

You have a key transversal role in connecting the dots and ensuring the implementation of strategies.

✓ Client Relationship Management

• You serve as the primary point of contact between the client and the agency or organization, building and maintaining a strong relationship.

• You act as the client's advocate within the company, ensuring their needs, feedback, and priorities are understood and addressed.

• You develop trust through transparent communication, consistent delivery, and responsiveness to client concerns.

✓ Strategic Leadership

• You lead the development and implementation of strategies that align with the client's business objectives and long-term goals.

• You offer industry insights and expertise to guide the client's direction, providing thought leadership to shape campaigns, projects, or initiatives.

 • You act as a consultant to the client, offering strategic advice and identifying opportunities to improve performance or drive growth.

✓ Project Delivery

• You oversee all client projects, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality expectations are met.

• You coordinate with internal teams (e.g., creative, marketing, production) to ensure that work is executed to the client's satisfaction. • You ensure that all deliverables are approved by the client and that any revisions or feedback are incorporated.

✓ Financial Follow-up

• You manage the financial aspects of the account, including budgets, invoicing, and profitability.

 • You ensure that the account remains profitable by balancing service levels with operational efficiency.

• You provide financial forecasting and regular reporting to senior management and the client on project performance and spending.

✓ Business Development

• You identify opportunities for expanding the scope of services provided to the client, such as new projects or service offerings.

• You proactively suggest new solutions or strategies that can help the client achieve their goals while generating additional revenue for the agency.

• You assist in contract renewals, scope expansions, and negotiations of terms and deliverables.

✓ Team Leadership

 • You lead internal teams dedicated to the client, ensuring they are motivated and aligned with the client's goals.

• You ensure the right resources are allocated to the account and resolve any resource bottlenecks or issues.

• You oversee the performance of team members working on the client account, providing guidance and mentorship.


Preferred experience

You have a minimum of 7 years of experience with advertisers or in an agency in data marketing/CRM in roles such as account management, client management, and consulting management within marketing agencies or with advertisers, on projects related to relationship marketing with loyalty programs.

You have participated in tenders for certain advertisers and have managed the coordination of different professions.

You are recognized for the quality of your interpersonal skills and your involvement in cross-collaboration projects.

You have demonstrated your ability to rigorously monitor financial statements and make reliable forecasts.

Your clients appreciate your strategic vision of their challenges and your market knowledge.

English is essential. French and Spanish would be a plus.
