👫 About the team

Our Finance team is the go-to team for all things finance related at Equativ, including very operational topics. The team is composed of a FP&A team, an Accounting team, a US Finance team, a Finance Ops team and a Procurement department.

In the context of continuous growth of the Group, we are reinforcing the Procurement department by adding a Corporate Buyer to reinforce our controls on external spends and internal process.

✏️ What you'll do

The primary responsibility of this role will be to improve our ROI on external spends and manage our partnerships with our key suppliers.

In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring that internal customers are satisfied in terms of cost, quality, deadlines, and service level agreements from suppliers. This includes developing and executing strategies to source and negotiate contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that the company gets the best possible value for its indirect purchases.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with excellent communication, negotiation, and purchasing skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the operational teams with RFI, RFP & negotiations; contract follow-up and renewals for different categories including but not limited to Marketing, Professional services, HR, MICE (meetings & events) ensuring that contracts are commercially negotiated balancing performance, value and risk.
  • Instigate and maintain excellent and effective relationships with key functional stakeholders, subject matter experts, Legal, Information Security and Data Privacy teams.
  • Supporting the procurement department development by implementing new tools and/or process:
  • P2P (procure-to-pay)

    CLM 

    Suppliers risks assessment process

  • Communicating the procurement team’s results & projects on a regular basis to the other employees and the top management (newsletters; procurement dashboards).
  • Communicate to the Finance team the savings & help building the yearly budget with inputs coming from the contract negotiations.
  • This list is non exhaustive and can evolve according to the procurement projects and roadmap.

    💪 About you

  • Master's degree in International business, engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a buyer for an Indirect Procurement Team in an international environment
  • Solution and execution driven
  • Excellent communication, organizational and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluent English & French, both written and orally, is mandatory
